Markus Hoffmann von Wolffersdorff

Markus Hoffmann-von Wolffersdorff is a German lawyer with deep expertise in corporate, trade, and distribution law, as well as litigation, arbitration, and mediation. With a strong focus on Indo-German business relations, he has been advising companies on cross-border legal matters since 2003. His work involves assisting German companies in navigating the Indian market and supporting Indian businesses in establishing a presence in Germany.

He has extensive experience in market entry strategies, legal structuring, subsidiary formation, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and technology transfer arrangements. His role goes beyond legal advice—he helps businesses understand regulatory frameworks, protect their intellectual property, and ensure compliance with local laws. Over the years, he has built a strong network of clients across Asia and Eastern Europe and coordinates collaborations with foreign partner law firms.

Markus is the Vice President of the Indo-German Lawyer Association and leads the Saxony chapter of the German-Indian Round Table (GILT). He is also an alumnus of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, actively working to strengthen business and legal ties between the two countries.
